Sébastien El Idrissi is a Swiss designer dedicated to designing simple and durable every day objects. Through clear concepts and discreet design he wishes to create objects that will stand the test of time and prevent the waste of resources. After an apprenticeship as a draftsman for steel constructions he studied industrial design at ECAL/University of Art and Design Lausanne.
With several years of experience from design studios such as Welling/Ludvik in Copenhagen and Alfredo Häberli in Zürich he founded his own studio SEIS in 2019 in Zürich. Recent projects include a connection piece to encourage the use of solid wood in furniture manufacturing or a desk organizer manufactured from sustainable energy sources.
